The only personal point of differentiation is that I don’t like using mod: in my macros, and instead prefer to set my action bar keybinds to use the modifiers, then play the macros I want into those locations. So, in short, you can bind an actionbar slot to S, and write a macro that will cast different spells depending on modifier keys./cast [mod:shift,@focus] [@mouseover,harm,nodead] [] pummel. i use this for intercept, intimidating shout, hamstring, you can use it for alot of your abilities to im sure, like cheeky purging if you see a druid pop innervate but ur targeting the other person. also if im in raid, world pvp or bg situations i use this macro to put people on focusUnless you use your mouse driver to convert button 5 into Shift, Ctrl, or Alt, the only way for the game to recognise you've held a mouse button is to have the cursor over an action bar button, or to bind the button to an action bar slot like any other key on the keyboard. This is what i have in general for most of them. /cast [mod:shift] [target=party1] Blessing of Freedom; [mod:alt] [target=party2] Blessing of Freedom; Blessing of Freedom. this works but not as intended. When there's no mod it casts on party 1 when i shift mod it does self cast and alt mod doesn't work at all. This is the same with BoP, Sac, ect.
